How to move your bookings across from another system
Switching booking systems does not mean starting from nothing. Export your bookings from the old one, upload the file to Nabsie, and they come with you.
This works for Quandoo, OpenTable, ResDiary, SevenRooms or a plain spreadsheet. It is on every plan.

- Export from your old system. Quandoo: open Reservations, pick a date range that includes the months ahead, then Export. Customers are under Guests. OpenTable: in GuestCenter go to Reports, choose the Reservations report and Download CSV. Guests are under Guest book, Export. ResDiary: open Reports, choose the Bookings report for your dates and export. Customers are under Customers, Export.
- Open Import bookings. In Nabsie, log in as the owner. In the left menu, under Your venue, click Import bookings.
- Upload the file. Choose your export file. CSV or Excel is fine. Press Upload and check. Nothing is saved yet.
- Check the preview. Nabsie shows what it found, how many rows are coming up and how many are in the past, and the first few rows as it will save them. If the columns look wrong, open Columns look wrong? Match them up yourself, choose the right columns and press Use these columns.
- Press Import. When it looks right, press the Import button. Future bookings go on your calendar and take up tables. Everyone appears under Guests with their visit history.
- Do the customer list too. If your customers are in a separate file, upload that one after, the same way.
No emails or texts go to any customer. Past bookings are kept for guest history and reports. Run the same file again later and nothing doubles up, only changes such as a cancellation are brought across. Only the first 5,000 rows of a file are used, so split bigger exports into smaller date ranges.
Cannot find the export? Ask your old provider for "an export of all my future bookings" and send it to support@nabsie.com. We will do the import for free.

Will my customers get emails?
No. Nothing goes to any customer when you import.
What if I upload the same file twice?
Nothing doubles up. Only changes, like a cancellation, are brought across.
Can I import from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Upload a CSV or Excel file with a header row, and match the columns yourself if Nabsie cannot tell what is what.
Will my old booking rules block the import?
No. Imported bookings were already accepted, so your rules are ignored for them.
