How to set up your hours, tables and turn times
These three pages decide when people can book, and how many. Get them right and Nabsie stops you being overbooked on its own.
Quick answer. In the left menu, under Your venue, open Opening hours, Tables and Turn times. Add your service periods, your table sizes and how long each party stays. Press Save changes on each page. All three are on every plan, including Free.
循序渐进
- Open Opening hours. In the left menu, under Your venue, click Opening hours.
- Add your service periods. Each day has a block with a name, a start time and an end time, for example Lunch 12:00 to 15:00. Press Add period for a second service such as Dinner. Tick Closed on any day you do not open.
- Set your last booking time. In Last booking, minutes before the end of a period, enter a number. 60 means that if dinner ends at 21:30, the last slot is 20:30.
- Add special closures. Under Special closures, press Add a closure, pick the date and add an optional note. Bank holidays are not automatic, so add Christmas Day and any private hire yourself. Press Save changes.
- Add your tables. Click Tables. Group identical tables together. Enter the Seats and How many, for example 4 seats and 6 tables, then press Add tables. A named table like The Snug is just a group of one. Nabsie always picks the smallest table that fits the party.
- Set party size limits. Further down, set the Smallest party online and Largest party online. Bigger groups are asked to ring you. You can also tick Allow combining two tables for large parties. Press Save changes.
- Set your turn times. Click Turn times. Each row says how many minutes a party up to a certain size keeps the table, for example parties up to 2 for 90 minutes. Press Add a rule for more rows. Leave the last row blank in the "up to" box to cover every bigger party. Press Save changes.
Staff can always give someone longer on the day. Turn time only decides when the table shows as free again online.

Why does Nabsie need table numbers?
Online bookings are only accepted while a suitable table is free. That is what stops you being overbooked.
I close in the afternoon. What do I do?
Add two periods for that day, for example Lunch and Dinner, with a gap between them.
Are bank holidays closed automatically?
No. Add them under Special closures on the Opening hours page if you shut.
What turn time should I use?
Start with what you do now, for example 90 minutes for a couple and two hours for six. You can change it any time.
