Everything you need to take and manage bookings

We spent time in kitchens and behind bars before writing a line of code. Everything here exists because a venue asked for it, and nothing here needs a training day.

A booking page customers finish in under a minute

Every venue gets its own page at its own link. Customers pick how many people, tap a day, tap a time and add their name and phone. No account, no app to download, no password. It works on any phone, and in 14 languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian, Greek, Turkish, Arabic and Chinese. Customers switch language on the page and their emails follow. Your dashboard, the staff app and the emails to your venue come in the same 14 languages, so your whole team can work in the one they know best.

Every venue gets its own web address. Free venues get a short random code like 5434.nabsie.com; on Standard and above you choose your own, like yourpub.nabsie.com. Your dashboard has a QR code and a printable poster for it. Share the address on Google Business Profile, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, your email signature, or put the QR code on menus and in the window. If you have a website, embed it with one line.

Three ways to say yes

Instant confirms a booking on the spot if a table is free. Staff approved holds it as a request until someone accepts. Live check is the clever one: the customer waits a few minutes with a countdown while your staff get an alert. If nobody replies in time, you choose whether to decline politely or keep it as a request and email later.

Live check can be switched on manually, on a schedule, or automatically whenever a staff member is logged in to the staff app. All three modes are on every plan, including Free.

A staff app that lives on a phone

Install it to the home screen on iPhone or Android. Requests appear at the top with a countdown and two big buttons, accept or decline with a reason. A short beep plays when something new arrives, and Standard and Pro venues get push notifications even when the app is closed.

There is also an Android Staff app for paid plans (see Apps). Staff can also add walk-ins and phone bookings by hand, mark arrivals and no-shows, and see tonight's list at a glance. Free includes the owner plus one staff login; Standard and Pro have unlimited logins.

Tables, turn times and pacing

Add your tables as groups, for example five 2 seaters and ten 4 seaters, plus any named tables like the snug or the window. Set turn times by party size and optionally let large parties combine two tables. Cap covers per service and limit bookings per 15 minutes so the kitchen keeps its rhythm on a Saturday night.

Opening hours are set per day with separate lunch and dinner services, and you can close a date or a service for a private party in two taps.

A live floor plan of your actual room

Drag your tables into place, round, square, oval or booth, big or small, turned at an angle if that is how they sit, and add the bar, doors, windows, stairs and toilets so everyone can find their way. Split it into areas like the garden and upstairs, and zoom out for a hundred plus tables. Then run service from it: tap a free table to seat a walk in or take a phone booking, see who is on every table and when it frees up, move people around, mark no shows. Online bookings drop onto the smallest free table that fits.

Switch on table picking and customers choose their own table from the plan, with a minimum party size per table so a couple cannot take your six seater. Bookings carry colour tags too: regulars and first timers are spotted automatically, birthdays and anniversaries from what they type, plus VIP, allergy, high chair and more.

And because the internet goes down on the busiest night of the year, a table list can be emailed to you before every service, or downloaded and printed any time.

A calendar customers understand

Days are colour coded: green for plenty, amber for limited, red for full and grey for closed. Customers pick a party size and see the times that work, and never see how many tables you actually have. That keeps your capacity private and stops people trying to game the system.

Works on any website, or none

Your booking page has its own link you can share anywhere. If you have a website, embed it with an iframe, a one line script, or a "Book a table" button that opens it in an overlay. It works on WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, Webflow, GoDaddy, or plain HTML someone built years ago.

Emails that do the work for you

Customers get a confirmation with a calendar file, a manage link to cancel if plans change, and a reminder the day before. You get an email for every booking and request. Standard and Pro venues can send from their own email address so it looks like it came from you.

Spam and no-show protection

Rate limits per connection, a hidden honeypot, optional Cloudflare Turnstile, and a daily cap on bookings per phone number and email. Staff can mark arrivals and no-shows so you know who to trust, and the reminder email the day before does most of the work of cutting no-shows on its own.

Works anywhere in the world

Nabsie is built in the UK and used by venues anywhere. Set your venue's time zone and the booking page, emails and staff app all show local times. Any country, any address format. Prices are in pounds sterling and cards from any country are fine. Deposits are taken in pounds sterling through your own Stripe account, and guests can pay with a card from any country.

Any time zone

Also included

The smaller things that add up

Manage links

Customers cancel or change through a link in their email, so you are not answering the phone for it.

Special requests and allergies

A free text box for requests and a separate allergy note that staff see highlighted.

Booking references

Every booking gets a short reference like TZ-7K3M2Q that customers can quote at the door.

Closures and private hire

Close a day, a service or a time range without touching your regular hours.

Export your data

Download bookings as a spreadsheet at any time. Your customers are your customers.

Your colours, logo and address

Pick an accent colour, add your logo, and on Standard and above choose your own address like yourpub.nabsie.com.

Text reminders

Confirmations, day-before reminders, a "still coming?" check, waitlist alerts and review nudges by text. Buy texts in bundles, only pay for what you send.

Deposits, card holds and card on file

Take a deposit, hold a card, or just keep a card on file for big parties or weekend nights, through your own Stripe account. Nothing is charged at booking with card on file, and it does not run out after a week, so it suits bookings made weeks ahead. No shows get charged with one tap.

Walk in queue

Guests scan a QR code at the door, add their name and watch their place on their phone. If a guest chooses to share their location, your team can see roughly how far away they are, so you do not call a table for someone who has wandered off. Their location and contact details are deleted once they are seated or leave the queue. You tap one button when their table is ready, and the guest is told by notification, email or text.

Rewards points

Reward your regulars with points they collect at your venue and nowhere else. You choose your own offers, such as 10% off or a free item, and rewards stay switched off until you turn them on. Guests earn points on what they order and pay for through Nabsie. On paid plans.

Nabsie for guests (coming soon)

A free app for your customers. They find your venue by scanning the table QR code, typing its name or code, or being nearby, then book a table, join the walk in queue, or order and pay from the table. Coming to Google Play soon. See the apps.

Pause just one service

Kitchen closed for lunch? Pause lunch for the day and keep dinner open, without closing the whole diary.

Gift vouchers

Sell vouchers from your booking page, paid straight into your own Stripe or PayPal. Emailed with a code, and you take all or part off at the till. On Pro.

Add to calendar

One tap buttons for Apple, Google and Outlook on every confirmation, with a reminder two hours before. Fewer forgotten tables.

Move across in a minute

Upload the export from Quandoo, OpenTable or ResDiary and your bookings and customers come with you. No emails go to anyone.

Guest profiles and reports

Every guest's visits, no shows and notes in one place. Busiest days and times, no show rate, regulars who have gone quiet.

Events, set menus and pre-orders

Quiz night, Sunday roast, Christmas: own capacity and price. Big parties pre-order from a set menu and the kitchen sees the totals.

Kitchen screen and AI phone answering*

A wall screen of what is arriving next with allergies in red. And when you are slammed, an AI answers the phone and books the table for you.

*AI phone answering is coming soon and will cost extra on top of your plan. It runs on credits you buy, because it costs us per minute.

Reserve with Google (coming)

FAQ

Questions about features

Which features are on the free plan?

All of the core ones: booking page and link, website embed, instant, staff approved and live check modes, email confirmations and reminders, the availability calendar, turn times and pacing, spam protection, and the owner plus one staff login. Paid plans add push alerts, unlimited logins and emails from your own address. Every plan, free or paid, keeps a small "Powered by Nabsie" line on the booking page.

Is there an app for staff?

Yes, it is a web app you install to the home screen from the browser on iPhone or Android. Nothing to find in an app store. It shows requests with a countdown and big accept and decline buttons, and plays a beep when something new arrives.

Can customers see how many tables I have?

No. They see whether a day is plenty, limited or full and which times are available for their party size. Your table counts and layout stay private.

Can I take deposits?

Yes, on the Pro plan, through your own Stripe account so the money goes straight to you. Deposits are taken at booking and you can refund them; card holds take nothing unless the party does not turn up. The reminder and "still coming?" texts do most of the work of reducing no-shows on their own. Read our deposits vs card holds article for the trade-offs.

Does it do Reserve with Google?

Not yet. The Reserve with Google connection is built into Nabsie and the last step is Google approving Nabsie as a partner, and we will switch it on for venues as soon as Google says yes, with no per booking fee. Until then, put your Nabsie link as the reservation link on your Google Business Profile, which puts a booking link on your listing on any plan. We explain the difference in our Reserve with Google guide.
